Getting into the spirit of the festive season, we have  launched a campaign in conjunction with local businesses in a bid to boost footfall to their local high streets over the busy Christmas period.

The ‘12 Days of Christmas’ campaign brings together independent businesses such as Live Like The Boy and Roaming Roosters to remind local people of the wide range of shops and businesses available right on their doorstep and will centre around a social media campaign, offering people the chance to win a selection of prizes worth approximately £1000 over a 12 day period.

The campaign will offer some local people the chance to win some excellent prizes including a luxury hotel break and a spa day experience. Also up for grabs are vouchers to spend at the likes of Kimora, Harry Garlick and the Fencegate Inn restaurant.

“Christmas is such an important time for the high street and as a local independent company, we wanted to engage with those other businesses in our area to really highlight all that Burnley and Pendle has to offer.

“We are tremendously proud of our title as the UK’s Most Enterprising Town so want to keep up that accolade with a creative campaign that makes a real difference to footfall and spend into local businesses this Christmas.”

The 12 Days of Christmas Giveaway campaign will begin on Monday 9th December. All people need to do to take part is like the Petty’s Facebook page and share their festive posts and they will be automatically entered into the prize draw, with two winners chosen at random and announced daily.
