Our very own Sally Hindle, Relocation Negotiator at our Barrowford office has become the latest employee to pass a series of qualifications that will ensure she firmly builds on her career with the company.

Sally, 44, has been with Petty’s for five years and since assuming her role at the Barrowford office three years ago has become an integral part of the estate agency team. Her passion for the property industry and thirst for knowledge has led her ‘back to school’ and she is delighted to have now passed the highly regarded NAEA (National Association Estate Agents) Technical Award and her NVQ Level 3 in the Sale of Residential Property.

Supported and funded by Petty’s as part of its Investor in People accreditation, Sally has spent the past 12 months studying an intensive ‘distance learning’ course tailored for those with high levels of responsibility in an estate agency role. The topics covered included how to implement an effective marketing strategy, providing pertinent and relevant advice to prospective buyers, understanding valuations and building defect recognition as well as effective negotiation on the sale of properties.

With the enhanced knowledge gained through the training, Sally feels that this will enable her to provide an even greater service to Petty customers. She said: “This course has allowed me to become skilled and confident in areas of the estate agency that I wouldn’t have normally been involved in. The knowledge I have obtained from this qualification will enable me to fulfil my role with a greater level of expertise and I am looking forward to putting all of this into practice!”

Ian Bythell, Partner at Petty’s added: “Sally is a valued member of our team at Barrowford but we know that as a business we need to help develop and challenge our team to help them reach their potential. Only by doing this are we able to provide the best levels of advice and service to our clients and Sally is a shining example of someone who does this every day.”

Investing in its people is at the top of the agenda for Home Sale Network Agents, Petty and they have a further four members of the team currently undergoing similar training to ensure that the business remains at the forefront of its competitors.
